Account Deletion

1. How to delete your account (in-app)

The fastest way to delete your data is through the Account screen inside the game:

1. Tap the Account button in the bottom-right corner.
2. Scroll to the Danger zone section.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.

Once confirmed, deletion begins immediately and cannot be undone.

2. Registered players (Apple / Google sign-in)

When you delete a registered account we permanently remove:

• Your profile and authentication record.
• All daily scores and monthly totals.
• League memberships (the leagues themselves stay open for other players).
• Push subscription and reminder settings.
• Bug reports you submitted.
• Uploaded avatar images.

Leagues you created remain active for other members, but the creator field is anonymised. Hall of Champions records are retained as historical data but shown as “Deleted Player” (see section 4 below).

3. Anonymous players (no sign-in)

Anonymous players can clear local data in two ways:

• In-app — Use the Delete this device's player data option on the Account screen.
• Browser settings — Clear site data / cookies for puck-luck.com in your browser or PWA settings.

Clearing local data removes your anonymous ID, nickname, and streak from this device. To also remove your scores from the public leaderboard, email us at puckluckflick@gmail.com with your nickname and approximate play dates.

4. What data may be retained

We delete as much as possible, but a small amount of data may be kept for legitimate legal, security, or historical reasons:

• Hall of Champions — Monthly winner records are historical. If the winning player deletes their account, the record stays but the name is replaced with “Deleted Player” and the avatar, country, and player ID are removed. The month and winning distance remain so the historical leaderboard stays intact.
• Leagues you created — The league itself and its member list are preserved so other players can keep playing. Only the creator identifier is anonymised.
• Legal / security — If required by applicable law, we may retain minimal records (for example, a transaction ID or abuse report) for the period mandated by that law. We do not keep personal identifiers beyond what is legally necessary.

5. Deletion assistance

If you cannot access the Account screen, or you need us to delete data on your behalf, send a request to puckluckflick@gmail.com. Please include:

• The email address linked to your Apple or Google sign-in (if registered).
• Your in-game nickname (if anonymous).
• Approximate dates you played.

We aim to process deletion requests within 7 days.
